If you’re like me you’re already tired of New Year’s resolutions. I understand and can relate with you.
I do seem to laugh this time of the year. Here it is a few days into the new year and I’ve already not done well with my food and exercise goals. (Hope springs eternal)
However, I’m already well on my way to scaling up my Amazon private label business for this year.
This is possible because last year at this time I sat down and asked myself what I wanted to do with my business and how could I create a scalable passive income business.
I created my 10 Steps to Starting an Amazon Private Label Business plan and more importantly took action and actually far exceeded my goals as an Amazon Private Label seller last year.
As I’m doing my planning for this year, I already have my next 6 products scheduled to be released.
That’s when I started thinking about so many of the people I come across who are talented and capable.
If this Amazon stuff is so possible and relatively easy compared to trading time for money as an employee or other ways to make money online, why do more of these talented, capable people not sell on Amazon?
I wish I knew.
The how to information is available.
It’s not expensive to get started.
You can can get started in less than a month.
If you have a job, you can keep it until you are ready to leave.
You can scale the business up to whatever level you would like.
You build an asset that you can one day sell.
The list goes on and on.
So is it just a matter of planning? Having the right steps to follow? Or is it simple human anxiety?
Probably some of each.
What if you planned to be a successful Amazon Private label seller this year and actually took action?
Next January would you be like me and other Amazon sellers who are coming off of a very financially lucrative December holiday season or would you still be saying wouda, coulda, shouda if you did nothing?
So I decided to put together a very, very basic plan to help you get started.
Here goes…10 Steps to Starting an Amazon Private Label Business
- Decide on a market
- Decide on a product
- Find a supplier
- Private label and purchase the product
- List it on Amazon
- Seek out reviews
- Spend a little time managing your business
- Rinse, wash, repeat with new products to scale up your business
- Enjoy your new passive income lifestyle
- Kick yourself for not starting sooner….
OK, overly simplistic, but not really. These are very doable steps. Will it all fall into your lap. Of course not? Will it take some time and effort? Sure. What in life doesn’t?
