Its Thanksgiving and I’m thankful to all of you

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here In the US. A day to reflect and appreciate what you’re thankful for. I’ve always wondered why we think about this only one day a year, because day in and day out most of us have it pretty good.

So I thought I would share some things I am thankful for. I am thankful that I found Amazon as a private label seller. Not only has Amazon grated me financial resources beyond what I could have imagined, but also grated me the free time to enjoy the laptop lifestyle.

But most importantly, I’m thankful it has given me the opportunity to work with all of you.

It’s been almost 4 years since I started selling on Amazon and launched my amazon course and community. In that time I have received countless emails that thanked me and say after releasing a product or two, their life is now a little easier or they have now made enough money to leave their job or even they are now into six figures in their ecommerce business. What a thrill and reward for me. I am certainly thankful for this.

I’m also very thankful of the lifestyle this business gives us. Many of you may have wondered why I am not as prolific in my podcasts and webinars as I once was.

The simple truth is I had had a very difficult year dealing with an in-law who is battling dementia and the time and other issues that awful disease creates.

I’ve also had to deal with a very serious illness within my immediate family. My wife has been extremely ill, as well. Not life threatening, but very serious, none the less.

It seems our life now revolves around doctor’s visits and trips to Duke University to their medical center which is 3 hours each way.

I mention this, not to share my difficulty, but to say I am thankful to have the financial means and time to address these real life issues. If it were not for amazon and the business choices I have made, I don’t know how I would have made it through this year.

But I really write this because I want all of you to know how much I have appreciated the last four years working with you and the positive impact it has had on me.

I find that every time I need a boost I start thinking about all of the good things and people in my life and I seem to feel better and more thankful.

What I would ask each of you to do is write one thing below that you are thankful for. I promise if you do and then read all the things other people are thankful for you’ll feel better.

So happy Thanksgiving and good luck to all of you on Black Friday and your Q4 sales
